Betsy lives in a townhouse and so has a narrow space for horticulture . As you ’ll see , however , she pull in the right-down most of hersmall space !
An impressiveBrugmansia(Zones 9–12 ) blooms by the back steps . Loaded with prime , it fill the air with a lovely smell .

Containersare a great way to fill a small garden with beauty . Here an assortment of tendersucculentsmakes a greatcenterpiece on the table .
A dreary - leaveddahlia(Dahlia×variabilis , Zones 8–10 or as a cutter bulb ) adds beauty from flowers and leaf to this container .
Dramatic dark leave from a canna ( Cannahybrid , Zones 7–10 or as a tender bulb ) set off the pale yellow peak of aCalibrachoa(Zones 8–10 or as an annual ) .

A gloomy batch and lavender bacopa ( Suteracordata , Zones 9–10 or as an annual ) set off a beautiful , large - leavedcoleus(Coleusscutellarioides , Zones 9–11 or as an annual ) .
Another beautiful coleus is the variety ‘ Golden Dreams ’ , with its contrast dark vein . A backdrop of allwhite flowersallows it to shine .
Another dark - leaved dahlia occupy center stage in this container .

Lobelia ( Lobeliaerinus , annual ) bring delicate sky blue to this container planting , echoing the vividness of the garden plantings around it .
