The best time of the gardening year

Hello , Fine Gardening!I’ve figured out why I lovefall gardensso much . It ’s not hot anymore , so you could thread tardily around your garden and stop to love the unexpectedcolor combinationstheflowersand flora are giving you . It almost looks like you plan it . Here are some pictures showing off decline delight .
Magnolia‘Solar Flair ’ ( Zones 4–8 ) variety to yellow for the tumble , while the ‘ Winter Gem ’ boxwoods ( Buxus‘Winter Gem ’ , Zones 5–9 ) keep their unbendable , rich gullible colour .

In Zones 7 and higher , fall does n’t just mean changing leaves ; it also means efflorescence in thesasanqua camellias(Camellia sasanquahybrids , Zones 7–9 ) . Different manikin ofcamelliascan blossom anytime from fall to spring where they are fearless .
flush steer of‘Limelight ’ hydrangeas(Hydrangeapaniculata‘Limelight ’ , Zones 3–8 ) fade to their fall brownness , with green upright plum yew ( Cephalotaxusharringtonia‘Fastigiata ’ , Zones 6–9 ) and silver dusty miller ( Senecio cineraria , Zones 8–10 ) .
A mixture of differentevergreens , some variegated , make beauty that last all year : oakland holly ( Ilex‘Magland ’ , zone 6–9 ) , variegated English Charles Hardin Holley ( Ilexaquifolium , Zones 7–9 ) , andDistylium‘Spring Frost ’ ( Zones 7–9 ) .

Another beautifulfall - bloomingcamellia ( Camellia‘October Magic Ruby ’ , Zones 7–9 ) is backed up by variegate genus Liriope ( Liriopemuscari‘Variegata ’ , Zones 5–10 ) and Elia ’ ears ( Stachysbyzantina , Zones 4–8 ) .
In this photo : evergreen poet ’s laurel(Danae racemosa , Zones 7–9 ) stud with ruby berries , the fadingseed headsof Autumn Joy sedum(Hylotelephium‘Herbstfreude ’ , Zones 4–10 ) , silvery lamb ’ ear , and the variegatedEuphorbia‘Ascot ’ ( Zones 6–9 )
The bold , variegated foliageofFatsia‘Spider ’s entanglement ’ ( Zones 7–10 ) stands out dramatically surrounded by saturnine greenish evergreen leafage .
