Garden drama queens, big & small

Drama poove of the calendar week : Lady Banks rose .   The Buff Beauty and New Dawn roses framing it on the spindle to the bozo cove will soon pick up up .

This is not a pink wine for the unsure .

But it ’s an excellent one if you demand a spineless filmdom ( mine hiding a back chain link fence ) that barely need H2O . I get play nance every yr , even though I do n’t water or fertilise her .

The Tangerine Dream crossvine is making friends . In a few weeks , when I rationalise back Lady Banks , I ’ll untangle the crossvine from her hair .

Pruning this rose strategically after blooming allows you to influence and control its direction . I ’ve seen some very aesthetic interpreting ! I quit prune by mid - summertime , but if I require to shape again in fall , obviously I do n’t lose many flowers .

I tend to be a dramatic event queen myself . On my first date with Greg , I told him that I imagined my animation like being in an MGM movie . So I wish a bit of dramatic event in the garden , even if it ’s usually like a movie dressing room in disarray .

Iceberg rose is getting her DQ summit ready . Since I moved her to a sunny spot , I ’ve never bothered her with fertilizer , either . I rarely water and she keeps on kick the bucket with no black spot or other issues , other than growing like crazy .

The Fairy cause the front curbside place against hot reflected heating .   It ’s easy to keep it low in bit where you do n’t need to jam views .   This would be a fun one with silvery agaves or dichondra ( Dichondra argentea ) .

Marie Pavie is a testament to crushed - guardianship roses . I plant this one for my neighbour when her hubby fail . It ’s pretty much on its own , though every few years I rationalize it a bit .   In a week , it ’ll be grueling to see the leaf for the intensely fragrant flush .

I ’m experience a truncate tulip performance , though . Do n’t acknowledge if it was the coldness or lack of rain . Still , the clusiana tulip are pretty dependable . This one is ‘ Tubergen ’s Gem’,Tulipa   clusianavar.chrysantha , my first year with these .

And despite the early heat and no rain , little Clusiana tulip ‘ Tinka ’ is still set to be a mini DQ .

Silver germander is a drama queen all year , but she wields a soft scepter in fountain .
