Clematis and other stars of a Chicago garden
Today ’s exposure descend from Judy McCurdy in the westerly suburbs of Chicago , Zone 5 .
I have always enjoyed the beautiful garden photograph you ’ve posted throughout the old age , so I imagine I ’d partake in a few of mine before we move . As you could see from the following photos , I ’ve break down a small mad with theclematis ! There are so many varieties that I want to try them all !
My front garden with Incrediball hydrangea(Hydrangea arborescens‘Abetwo ’ , zona 3–8 ) . Incrediball is an improved interpretation of the classic‘Annabelle ’ hydrangea , with potent stems that do n’t flop ) . This garden also includesBrunneramacrophylla‘Looking Glass ’ ( zone 3–8 ) , andHydrangeaserrata‘Blue Billow ’ ( geographical zone 5–9).Read more about this species of hydrangeahere .

Clematis‘Rosemoor ’ ( Zones 5–9 )
Clematis‘Bourbon ’ ( Zones 5–9 ) adorns the lamppost .
Helleborus‘Sparkling Diamond ’ ( zone 4–9 ) under the pine tree diagram is the perfect solution fordry shade !

Monarda‘Grand Mum ’ ( Zones 3–9 ) is lovely in front of a border .

Last , but sure enough not least , Hemerocallis‘Lady Elizabeth ’ ( Zones 4–9 ) with a visitant .
I ’ll miss this garden when we move , but I ’m looking forward to the challenge of my next garden in sandysoil !
