Fixing up a rundown house and landscape
Today we ’re inspect Patti ’s garden in Guilford , Connecticut .
Growing up , I take about a garden like this while pose on the floor in Accra , Ghana . Now in America , I have the world at my foot . My God , nothing is impossible . I can stay up all night working aside as I seek to follow through in my garden every slight aspiration I read about . My neighbors already think I am crazy , and I love it .
I purchase this home base in 2016 . I want everyone to know it is absolutely potential to be very ego - reliant and to have a beautiful garden on one income when planned strategically .

The landscape at Patti ’s house before she lead off gardening there .
And here ’s a “ before ” photo of the backyard . It was a fixer - upper !
Another “ before view”—there was definitely a lot of workplace to be done !

The garden after Patti transformed it , with masses of tulip bringing lots ofspring color .
White fences , container , and lots of neatly trimmed conifers create an elegant , polished garden quad .
The front of the business firm before …

… and after , now filled with beautiful plant .
The private road is now describe with plants , and there is the promise of a beautiful garden at the end . I ca n’t believe how much work Patti has put into transforming this space !
At the end of the effort , baskets full of flower hanging on the fencing recognize everyone as they go past .
