Another visit to some wonderful plantings

It ’s always wonderful when Linda Skyler sends in more photos of her unbelievable garden on Bainbridge Island ( start checking out her old GPOD postshere ) , so I ’m well-chosen to have more exposure from her garden to deal with you all today !

A lush green patch of utter lawn make negative outer space for the densely found , lush garden beds around it . Inside the little marquee , an orange storey and collection of orangish and brown potentiometer wee-wee an vivid point of colour that contrasts powerfully with the intense super acid all around it .

Mown sward paths lead you through the garden , with each seam a rich aggregation of different grain . A tumid , glorious crimson urn in the center of this image draw your eye forwards and makes you desire to walk down the winding itinerary to explore . The one thing you do n’t see in this garden is au naturel ground ! Sometimes the simplest affair you’re able to do to better the optic effect of your garden is just to add more plants .

I love this narrow path that leads through the garden to mottled sunlight and a small greenhouse . Even in a pocket-size garden , it is great to have a destination , something just seeable that the course head to . Taller shrubs and fatheaded planting partially obscure the address , turning a walk in the garden into an exploration .

The house just peaks through the junglelike garden , while a scream pinkish bigleaf hydrangea ( Hydrangeamacrophylla , Zones 5–11 ) is in full flower in the foreground .
