Susan Marshall ( mother ) and Tessa ( daughter ) of Quebec , Canada enjoy the time spent in their lineament filled garden , despit their light growing time of year .
“ Here ’s our Northern garden . We live in Val d’or , a amber excavation town in Quebec , Canada in zone 2b . Growing in this climate is always a challenge because we can get a freeze at the end of June and another one at the end of August . Hence , our uprise time of year can be very inadequate , but the rewards of sample are well deserving it ! A tidy sum of the terracing ( take note the mammoth stone ) was already done when we move in and we put in all the gardens ( include the island garden ) . The passion and care of the the great unwashed who put in the bench has inspired us to bear on the stewardship of this beautiful holding . Our pet “ garden elbow room ” is the sunken garden where we have dinner party every evening . We love it ’s intimacy . ”
