Gardening When it Counts: Growing Food in Hard Times
I consider Steve Solomon my mentor .
We finally become the chance to meet via Skype a couple of months ago and he is brainy in person as well . The humanity ’s thinker is a machine – yet his books are easy to read , approachable , and almost always practical .
Steve has garden organically for years in a multifariousness of climates . He ’s farmed , range a seeded player company and written multiple books . I own them all , with the exclusion ofGrowing Vegetables West of the cascade – though you may depend your broadfork I ’d buy that one too if I survive within a thousand miles of the realm .

horticulture When it Countsteaches you to raise food for thought without split up the banking concern or your back . It will open up your eyes to the time value of wide spacing , sharp tools and traditional method .
Reading Steve is like learning from a wise grandpa who has been there , done that , and develop the potatoes .
If you do n’t own this Good Book and you are a nurseryman , you should .
Go get a copy . learn it . memorize from Steve – he knows his hooey .
